Who We Are

We are a private concierge service assisting foreign visitors traveling to rural areas of Thailand.

Many of our clients come to Thailand to meet someone important to them — often a Thai woman they met online and would like to meet in person. However, about half of Thailand's population lives outside major cities — in small towns and villages.

Thailand has major highways and railway connections across the country. However, travel logistics between Bangkok and provincial areas are often organized through numerous private operators, each operating their own routes, offices, and departure points. Because of this decentralized system, there is often no single website or unified booking platform where every route can be reserved online.

For example, tickets for minivans are frequently purchased in person, sometimes shortly before departure. Similarly, smaller hotels or guesthouses may not appear on international booking platforms and may require direct phone reservations in Thai.

This is where our service comes in. We help organize and manage these trips from start to finish — ensuring the journey is smooth, discreet, and properly arranged.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clients considering travel to rural areas of Thailand often have similar practical questions. Many of these trips involve unfamiliar locations, informal transport systems, and first-time personal meetings — so it is natural to want clarity before making arrangements. Below we address some of the most common questions we receive, based on real client situations and travel scenarios.

Why not just rent a car and drive yourself?

Renting a car is certainly possible — and some clients do choose this option. However, rural travel in Thailand comes with factors many visitors don't anticipate:

  • Thailand has left-side driving, which requires an adjustment period for many foreign drivers.
  • Distances between provinces can be long, and rural roads are often unfamiliar and poorly marked.
  • GPS navigation does not always reflect real road conditions in villages and agricultural areas.
  • After a long international flight, driving several additional hours can be physically demanding.

Most importantly, self-driving does not solve logistical uncertainties. If plans change, the meeting is postponed, or accommodation arrangements fall through, clients may find themselves in a remote location without local support or backup options. Our role is to manage these uncertainties — not just transportation.

Why not just take a taxi?

Taxis work well for simple city transfers. Rural travel is different.

A taxi typically provides transport from point A to point B — and that is where the service ends.

In village areas:

  • Return transportation may be limited or unavailable.
  • Drivers rarely wait for extended periods.
  • Communication can be difficult if plans change.
  • Assistance with accommodation or coordination is not part of the service.

Our concierge support extends beyond the ride itself — we remain involved throughout the trip, including contingencies and return logistics.

My Thai partner will guide me — why would I need assistance?

In many cases, Thai partners do help coordinate meetings — and this can work well.

However, it is worth understanding that travel experience varies widely. Many people living in rural provinces have limited need to travel long distances within Thailand. Their familiarity may be local rather than national — focused on their home region rather than inter-provincial logistics.

Additionally:

  • Travel arrangements may rely on informal transport.
  • Accommodation standards may differ from what foreign visitors expect.
  • Communication gaps can arise when coordinating complex routes.

There is also a financial consideration. Clients are sometimes asked to send advance funds for travel or hotel arrangements — which carries inherent risk when plans are not yet confirmed. Our service removes this uncertainty by managing logistics directly.

By the way: if your partner is ready to act as a full travel guide, clearly understands long-distance logistics from the airport to her village, and has confident answers to every transport and accommodation question — it may also be worth reflecting on how often she has hosted foreign visitors before, and whether that raises any personal concerns or red flags for you.

She will meet me at the airport. Isn't that enough?

Potential risks to consider:

  • In most cases, you would need to send money in advance so she can travel to the airport, arrange a taxi, book a hotel, etc. There is always a possibility that plans change — or that the person simply does not show up.
  • You may realize right at the airport that your expectations do not match reality. After a long flight — tired, sleepy, with luggage — it can feel uncomfortable to refuse pre-arranged transport and accommodation or to suddenly change plans.
  • You may be planning to visit more than one acquaintance during your trip. In that case, placing all travel arrangements under the control of the first person you meet may limit your flexibility.
  • Trusting someone you barely know and immediately traveling with them to a remote rural area is not always the safest option. In recent years, there have been documented cases where foreign visitors were transported directly from Bangkok airport to scam-operation compounds in neighboring Myanmar. While uncommon, such incidents do occur and are worth being aware of.
